Role Summary
The Senior Threat Intelligence Lead will oversee the activities of the threat intelligence team, supporting data analysts where support is needed.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
Provide guidance and support to The Cyber Helpline business units and wider teams such as IT through presentations and awareness campaigns.
Oversee Chatbot Intelligence activities for delivering core functions with Threat Intelligence Data Analysts.
Support operational documentation and processes.
Act as Deputy for the Head of Threat Intelligence as and when required.
Support the recruitment of additional resources to the Threat Intelligence Team.
Threat Intelligence and Minimising Risk
Validate chatbot threat analyst activities including but not limited to:
Support chatbot investigations when needed.
Validate chatbot schema classifications completed by Threat Intelligence Data Analysts.
Provide recommendations or changes to Threat Intelligence Data Analysts for updates on taxonomies.
Suggest or address considerations for Chatbot questioning or enhancements.
Provide Threat Intelligence trends and risks for communication in the protection of The Cyber Helpline service users.
Investigations
Conduct open source research where required in support of advice team or helpline responder investigations.
Provide research and investigate bite-sized topics on attacks relating to the key stakeholder requirements and ways to defend against them through regular reports. for advice teams or other departments as required.
Support process documentation for effective ways of working.
Automation
Support the Threat Intelligence team with areas of improvement through automation to enhance efficiencies.
Requirements
Candidates must be 18 years old or older and be resident in the US.
Successful candidates will have background and criminal records checked, as they are likely to have access to sensitive personal data. Once background checked, they will also be required to complete and pass online training to learn about our attack taxonomy.

Baseline knowledge of cyber security attacks and methods
Understanding of modern components of an individual's digital footprint - such as social media accounts, email accounts and internet-connected devices

Leadership experience or potential
Experience working with confidential data
